    <Title>Online Safety Tips for Teens in There</Title>
    <Content>
      Welcome, teen community members! There is a place for you to express
         yourself, build an online home, meet new friends and hang out with
         offline friends when you can&apos;t be together in person. Because we want
         you to have a positive and rewarding experience in There, we encourage
         you to follow some basic online safety tips when you&apos;re logged on:
      <br />
      <br />
      <ol>
        <li>
          <strong>Don&apos;t share or post personally identifying information</strong>
          <br />
          Personally identifying information is anything that could be used to
                     locate you offline, including your real full name, your parents&apos; names,
                     your home address, your school name or location, your phone numbers
                     (including your cell phone!) or a photograph that shows what you look like.
        </li>
        <br />
        <br />
        <li>
          <strong>Don&apos;t share your There password</strong>
          <br />
          Your account is yours and yours alone. If you give your password to
                     someone they&apos;ll have access to all of your There items and property. We
                     can&apos;t be held responsible for problems resulting from password sharing.
                     There employees will never ask you for your password and true friends
                     won&apos;t ask for it either.
        </li>
        <br />
        <br />
        <li>
          <strong>Don&apos;t believe posers</strong>
          <br />
          Don&apos;t trust anyone online who claims to be a famous actor or actress,
                     supermodel, modeling agent, rock star, movie agent, or celebrity in
                     &quot;real life&quot; - especially if they ask for your password or for personal
                     information.
        </li>
        <br />
        <br />
        <li>
          <strong>Seek help offline for serious issues</strong>
          <br />
          There is not the right place to seek advice or counseling for serious
                     issues like depression, medical issues or abuse. Instead it&apos;s best to
                     get the help of a trusted adult offline for these things. You should
                     also beware of anyone online who claims to be a counselor or therapist,
                     as they may not have your best interests in mind.
        </li>
        <br />
        <br />
        <li>
          <strong>Trust your instincts</strong>
          <br />
          If someone threatens or harasses you, put them on your Ignore list
                     (Click their nametag and choose Ignore). Once they&apos;ve been ignored they
                     will no longer be able to speak to you, IM, email, or communicate with
                     you in There. If a conversation makes you uncomfortable for any reason,
                     you can always teleport immediately to another location or simply log
                     off. You can report serious griefing incidents to
          <a href="mailto:abuse@there.com" id="mailLink">Customer Support</a>
          .
          <script type="text/javascript">document.getElementById(&apos;mailLink&apos;).href = &quot;mailto:&quot; + abuseMail();</script>
        </li>
        <br />
        <br />
        <li>
          <strong>Keep your online friendships online</strong>
          <br />
          If you&apos;re under 18, it&apos;s definitely not a good idea to meet your online
                     buddies offline unless you bring a parent with you.
        </li>
        <br />
        <br />
        <li>
          <strong>Speaking of parents. . .</strong>
          <br />
          It&apos;s always a good idea to keep your parents in the loop about There.
                     Tell them about the cool stuff you&apos;ve seen and the friends you&apos;ve made.
                     Be sure to ask for their help when you need it.
